"ORIGAMI" is a reversible product born from the idea of folding fabric to create a shape, just like origami.
The fabric used is high-density silk taffeta woven in Yonezawa, Yamagata Prefecture. This fabric, also known as "paper taffeta," has the firmness and flexibility of paper, and can beautifully maintain its shape when folded or stood up. The two slits are a design point that allows the garment to be worn standing up like a collar.
It is about 35cm wide and covers the shoulders well, so it has a strong presence even when worn alone. It is a simple piece that allows you to fully enjoy the charm of silk taffeta.
▼ How to wear
The reversible ribbon can be pulled out from either side.
Hold the ribbon in one hand and use the other hand to press the fabric in to gather it. If you leave it as is, the gathers will become loose, so tie the ribbon to secure it firmly and then adjust the overall shape.

Silk taffeta, also known as "paper taffeta," is a fabric that can be shaped like paper. It is made using the "yarn-dyed" technique, in which the yarn is dyed before being woven, giving it a unique look in which the color changes depending on the viewing angle, and an elegant luster that is unique to silk.

Caution
● When gathering, tie a ribbon to secure the gathers.
● Fabric may naturally change over time.
● Do not wash with water. The texture will change.
● Colors may run when in contact with water or rain.
● Colors may fade and fabric may diminish around the ribbon used for adjusting garment.
● If the product is designed to catch easily, be careful not to damage the product due to catching.
● If the design has a cut-off part, it may become frayed after repeated wearing and washing. If fraying occurs, cut carefully with scissors without pulling.
● Be careful when wearing it as there is a risk of strangulation if the ribbon or fabric gets caught.
Care Instruction
● Dry clean only.
● Disfiguration may occur if excessively dry cleaned.
● Stains from makeup foundation may be removed with an eraser.
● Store away from direct sunlight, high temperatures and high humidity.
