Start from where the string goes through and put it on with the narrower side facing up.

POINT!!
The ribbon threading position is slightly off center, so if you place the smaller width side toward the face, it will fit better when gathered together!

Gather

You can make a neat gather by inserting your hand from below and pulling the ribbon from side to side.

STEP 03
Tie a ribbon

To secure the gathers, tie a ribbon like you would tie a shoelace.

Adjust the gathers and shape
